CHB to Sell Residential Plot in IT Park by reducing reserve price

Chandigarh Housing Board will be selling Residential Plots to Private Builders soon

Chandigarh Housing Board is soon going to sell residential plots on its vacant land in IT Park to private builders. Its agenda has been placed in the CHB Board of Directors meeting to be held on March 8. Once approved from there, CHB will conduct their online auction. These plots were put on auction even when Maninder Singh Bains was the CHB chairman, but no one placed the bid due to the high rate. Now the CHB will decide their reserve price according to the collector rate. For this, a clarification has also been sought from the DC office regarding collector rates. According to officials, collector rates have been reviewed in the last few years, due to which there may be a reduction of 8 to 10 percent in the reserve price as compared to earlier.
